About Us

EXPAT CAREERS INTERNATIONAL

Expat Careers International was established in 2001 to meet the increasing demand for expatriate recruitment into the Arabian Gulf (GCC) region. Expatriate recruitment is highly specialised, as it requires a first-hand knowledge (gained through direct experience) of the destination country and job location and employer, coupled with an in-depth understanding of candidate qualifications, career experience and family situation in their countries of origin. Over the past nine years we have had to recruit against a background of changing issues including the effects of security issues, economic booms and now downturns. Dealing with these complexities, accurately assessing client needs and applicant suitability and motivation is the expertise our clients value and regularly confirm sets Expat Careers International apart from their many competitors.

We have successfully recruited and relocated professionals from the following countries.

The challenge of successfully recruiting new staff has grown over the past 20 years as demand outstrips supply for the competent and motivated individuals required in today's rapidly changing markets. Since the 'Oil Boom' of the 1970s, conditions have progressively changed, with it being consistently difficult to attract quality expatriate staff to the Arabian Gulf region due to a number of factors - the geo-political situation, remuneration affected by the low US dollar, attractive employment conditions in most domestic employment markets and strong competition from Asia. Our Auckland office is strategically (time zone) located to allow us to communicate with job seekers ranging from Canada/USA through to the Middle East during their daytime hours. The location of our Saudi and Bahrain offices complements this activity allowing us to communicate with job seekers and clients from other time zones in their daytime hours. This is one of many reasons why our clients utilise the services of Expat Careers International to ensure they attract the most suitably qualified and experienced individuals, regardless of their location in the world.
