Our client is an international Joint Venture company currently undertaking a major integrated Aluminium project on the Arabian Gulf coastline of Saudi Arabia. This incorporates a Mine and Refinery, 740 Ktpa Smelter and Rolling Mill.
The appointee will initially lead the recruitment function during the green field project start up phase, then focus on in-Kingdom induction and accommodating of new staff. He will be responsible for the development and implementation of all HR procedures required by the Mine and Refinery, and enable the delivery of training. He will lead the HR team in managing staff retention and ensure manpower requirements are maintained in line with plans.
The role requires a degree qualified professional with a minimum 10 years overall experience and 5 years at Superintendent/Manager level, in a minerals processing, Refinery, or heavy manufacturing environment. Prior experience in at least one major green field project start up is essential.
