#1046 Senior Mine Development Engineer

This newly created role is key to the successful development of several new gold mines with a focus on project feasibility studies, project construction and commissioning, and mine start-ups.
 
The appointee will validate extractable resources and determine the efficiency and cost effectiveness of proposed mining methods, ensure the efficiency of the recovery processes, optimal plant and equipment selection, infrastructure development and environmental protection.
 
This will require sound budgeting and project expenditure management, report preparation and the ability to make good decisions and provide viable recommendations to executive management.
 
We are ideally seeking a degree qualified mining engineer with 7-9 years experience across a range of mining types and operations.
